Multicultural world in Virtual Reality

About the workshop

 

Creating a "multicultural world" in Virtual Reality will bring people closer together. This will be an environment where every person of every country can unleash their creativity. The workshop aims to use 3D, AR, and VR technology to give students the tools to create unique works of art with their computers and smartphones. Students will understand the basics of Virtual Reality in the workshop, the workflow to create a virtual world and the approach to VR from the simplest tools to the more complex systems. After the workshop, students will see that the virtual world and the real world will be concise and understand what we need to do to enter the virtual reality.

Tools & materials

Software: Paint-AR, Autodesk Maya, Paint 3D, Substance Painter, Unity, Smartphone (iOS or Android).

Workshop description

Tiger Hai Duong Minh

Multimedia artist who graduated from the Faculty of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at the University of Technology in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in 2009. In September 2020, he got a MA in New Media Arts from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw, Poland. Since 2019, he has been teaching art at PJAIT. Since 2015, he has been working as a drawing & painting teacher in Lineare Art Studio in Warsaw, Poland.
